| I have enjoyed all of these, but I dearly love this one. The letter is so very like Pippin and so cute. I can see Gandalf managing to deliver it too. Great stories! Author Reply: Thank you! And I can just bet Gandalf gave it to the old fellow, and he had a hearty chuckle, and perhaps a homesick tear, over it, and kept it after, perhaps folded up next to his pipe in his pocket, next to his heart. Author Reply: Oh, that's a lovely image! I like to think of him showing Pippin the letter when the hobbits reached Rivendell :) | |
