| *Takes deep breath* Ah, Eokat. While I do enjoy the "romantic interludes" included in your stories and the stories of my other favorite authors, I fear you all are near to driving me insane, lol. Anyway, I did not think Elfwine was so young in this story. Maybe I should have figured it out in the first chapter, but I imagined him as being somewhere around seven years old, and going to undertake this rite himself. Now I find he's a half-year old babe. Oh well. It just makes me all the more curious to learn what exactly this rite is. How many more updates must I wait? Hopefully not enough to constitue cruelty. :) Author Reply: Thank you Eomer. Yes I am being cruel to make you wait. Next chapter is finished, just being fine tuned before posting. I have a bee in my bonnet to finish this and then go back to orcs etc...although I have got two more plot bunnies whizzing through my mind for future stories. Eokat. | |
