| Oh, what a pity about those poor hobbits! It's a reminder, I guess, that Middle-earth is not paradise (much as we in our escapist fantasies wish it were) and that even after the War, bad things still happen, even in the Shire. But it is a pity. Loved Bandobras' description of Legolas' hair floating around his face, and the glow of his hands. Mmm. Makes me want to go back and re-read that chapter in Green Knight, when he went swimming. Mmm. | |
