| As I've said elsewhere, lovely! | I absolutely love this tale. I love the atmosphere of the rainy afternoon, the cosiness of Bilbo's room in contrast to the autumn weather, which makes Bilbo's room appear all the more comfortable. And Bilbo's boredom in combination with his inability to do something he has set himself to do is oh so familiar.;-) But there is also his memory of the Ring that still cannot let go, which adds something dark to the story. And then there's Aragorn. | Bilbo is always a delight and this is a wonderful chapter. I enjoyed the descriptions of all of Bilbo's things as he tried to find something interesting to do. Good thing a friend showed up!
