An interesting tale which has captured my interest. It's been years since I read the Silmarillion, but after reading your story, I went back and looked at Elrond's history. I rather think the story of Elrond and Elros' early days could easily make a novel-length fanfic in the telling. The story was a bit confusing -- as I said, I didn't remember much of the days you were writing about -- although on re-reading it makes more sense. And it was a very rich story. You did a great job with the description of the sea and fishing, although I suspect I don't quite understand the symbolism there. I guess I need to go read it again. Thanks for writing and posting. Author Reply: Nightsky reviews Moonlighter... clearly there's some higher power at work here. ;-) Thanks for reading and reviewing. You're welcome to ask me about the confusing bits -- I'll gladly try and answer your questions, and be happy to know which parts need to be made clearer. I suspect you know already all there is to know about the setting of the story. This was basically fiction from beginning to end, filling in a section Tolkien never wrote much about. Thanks again for the feedback.

A very poignant, rich little tale; I'm enjoying it very much. I don't have time enough to leave a very detailed review, but I thought I'd let you know that I'm following this story. ^^ Author Reply: I do appreciate it, thanks. Hope you have fun with the rest.
