oh my gosh! he cant be dead! im glad the both of the evil ones are dead. They deserved it... I hope Legolas doesnt die! that would be just to sad. Good chapter.

Author Reply: Umm. Er. Well. What can I say except---he really is. I don't think you will be too unhappy about that once you read the next chapter. That's my hope anyway.

Author Reply: Ever the optimist, aren't you? Sorry, but Legolas *is* dead. There, I said it. I think you'll feel better about it, when you read the next chapter.

Yes, our poor elf is always at the mercy of us cruel, evil writers. All of Tolkien's characters are, I'm afraid.

NOOOOOOOO!!!! NOT THERE, I *BEG YOU*!!!!! *sniff* I wonder if my idea regarding Legolas' death is actually going to come true???? (And don't worry; once I figure out WHAT THE HECK is going on, I'll tell you what I thought.) I especially love the last few paragraphs; it took me a long time to read them, because I'd only see a few words and then everything would get blurry...*sniff* I really did wonder how they were finally going to get rid of Mordraug...it turned out to be very imaginative! I'd never thought of him getting killed by his own snake...that was good! But my poor x infinity baby! (Or should I save that for later?) He's just going around, minding his own innocent business, and *BAM*! It's not fair!! It's like....poetic injustice!! The scene with each dealing with his individual grief; that was powerful. I wonder about the less seroius convulsions, though? //Legolas was dying. To the ranger, those three words should not be allowed to exist, in Sindarin, in Westron, in any language known in Middle-earth.// That has *got* to be one of my favorite sentences I've *ever* read!

Yep...I got what's comin' to me....I should've been more careful about my wish list! But despite this...I WANT MORE!

POST SOOOOOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Author Reply: I'm looking forward to finding out what your thoughts on Legolas's death are. I bet it's interesting.

Even though most readers probably wanted Thranduil to do Mordraug in, which would have been my second choice, I thought it would be perfect for him to die the same kind of death he inflicted on others.

I'm happy you liked how everyone was dealing with what was happening to Legolas. I tried to make that emotionally strong.

I'm also happy you liked that sentence, because after I wrote it and reread it, I was unashamedly proud of it. Thank you for marking it a favorite of yours. That's quite a compliment.

I plan on updating Wednesday.

More will be welcome.

Such an evil cliffy, and yet I love it.

Bring HIM back to life, can't you see his father crying. (LOL!)

I still love what I read, just keep them coming.

Sivan :-P

Author Reply: I'm glad you will welcome more, because more will be coming.

Yes, Thranduil is crying. What happened isn't an easy thing for him to accept, even though, he knew it was coming.
