I hate it when fun turns sour! I guess though a little mishap won't let them quite now! I like how pretty much everyone went down the tunnels after the children. Good thing elves have good hearing and can since trouble! Looking forward to findig out if everyone is alright!

Author Reply: Don't worry, the fun is far from spoiled! Those kids are on a mission, and a few bumped heads and scratches won't deter them. The update is coming soon! I'm really glad you like my story. :)

The game turns quickly to peril. I am glad that despite striving for honor and victory, the elves keep in the back of their minds that the safety of the children should come first. When it's important to more than just his pride, Legolas just takes off his bindings, as I am sure he could have done at any time. And, I'm not surprised Eowyn thought to bring a rope. But was she actually the lightest one there? I would think Pippin would be lighter than her, although maybe he wouldn't have the strength to pull up the full-size children. Maybe you might want to reword that section just a little. Either way, an exciting chapter.

Oh, I hope Gimli won't feel too guilty about this mishap. I suppose it was to be expected when you have Eomer's son and Aragorn's son, woth only Eowyn's daughter to keep them in line! Boys will never learn - I'll bet they refused to look at the map! :P Great work, will be waiting (impatiently) for an update!
