| Awesome story! I noticed the way that Legolas was standing as well, and I hoped that someone would write about it. By the way, I think that the twins may be in the movie after all. There are two elves reforging the shards of Narsil. They look very similar, and both have dark hair. What other elves would have stayed in Rivendell when it is obvious that it is basically deserted? The twins of course! | |

| I've only seen the movie one time, but when I go back for a second viewing, I'll have to watch for that scene. This was a nice explanation for what might have happened. | |

| I like this story. Unlike the more benevolent Jay of Lasgalen, I cannot forgive the absence of Elladan and Elrohir in RotK! I am Scottish. We tend not to forgive. I will have to note the scenes you mention on my next viewing. Little one, just a small proofreading for you: It should be "steel" not "steal" when referring to weapons! (Would you like a list of the egregious mistakes I have made in my own prose?) | I've been trying to leave a review all day but my computer is very screwed up, so im writing this on my neighbours computer! I love this story, (after all im very partial to a bit of Legolas angst with twin angst on the side) and I havnt even seen RotK yet, so im definately going to be looking out for THAT sene in it! | I love to see your stories - full of angst! I've only seen ROTK once so far, so didn't notice that scene. I'll look out for it next week when I go again. And THANK YOU for putting the twins back where they belong! I understand why PJ left them out, they're not vital to the story, but I was still disappointed when he confirmed they wouldn't be there. Jay Author Reply: Hi Jay, I'm glad to hear someone was as peaved as I was at PJ leaving the twins out of the movie. Although the play a small part in the books, the roles they bring to the story are important, particularly when it comes to the Rangers and bearing Aragorn the Sword.
