Probably not the best story to read just before bed, but oh well. The reactions of the Fellowship to the ghosts, more than the ghosts themselves, was very scary. Have tingles going up my spine. And I like the suspicion surrounding every one of Boromir's moves, no matter how innocent the motives. An excellent story; thank you for creeping me out! ;)

I wasn't expecting it to end so soon! But that was really, really great! Good work, and five stars *****!

OK, I could have put this all in one review, but I knew not if I'd have the time to read it through in one day I especially liked the way Boromir was described and how brave he was (and this comes from an Aragorn-lover!). The solution of the story was believable and well delivered, so I hope to read more from you soon. - T.

Wow, this is creepy! Haven't read such an intriguing plotline for some time. Have to read on, so I'll get back to the review board later. - T.

"I cannot tell by taste." Huah! *laugh, grin, whatever...* they should have taken Gimli with them. He seems able to detect the sort of blood by taste very well. - T.

What a nice start! Sam's worry for Frodo is very griping. I look forward to find out what troubles Frodo - more than the Ring maybe? - T.

Really enjoyed this story! Spooky, thrilling, and gave a little backstory to those in the Paths of the Dead. I totally felt this fit into their journey, potentially. It was a fun ghost story! Well done!

I think I already mentioned it in one of my unfortunately irregular reviews, but this story was outright creepy. The sudden appearance of a stray group of ghosts outside the Paths of the Dead was by far more sinister than the ghosts in the original story (and the whole Paths of Deaths sequence is eerie as it is). But (of course) I am glad that Aragorn managed to come up with a solution that the ghosts would accept. And that the chief-ghost chose to not let Frodo fall to his death. A great story (as are all of your stories I have read so far). Thanks for writing and sharing, fliewatuet
