I do hope that you update this! It is absolutely amazing! I am completely convinced that this piece of work is so well done and the characters so perfect, that I could have found this in a bookstore! Boromir is my favorite character and you portray him so well. Please continue with this, it was a joy to read, and now I will be checking back for updates all the time! :)

LOL!! This was funny! Love the whole Pippin and Merry adn Sam and Frodo relationship as seen by Boromir. I tend to see from the Hobbits' POV, and mainly Frodo's (hence the pen name), so seeing this from Boromir's POV is interesting. Hannon le for a beautiful...funny story! God Bless, Frodo Baggins

This is so sweet! I hope you continue with this story soon. I am curious about Boromir's reactions to Galadriel, and you seem to be able to display Boromir's thoughts and feelings in such an intuitive manner. And I love the way you incorporate the movie into each scene. It's so easy to visualize what is going on, but you also learn more about the characters and their reactions. Author Reply: Thank you! I am working on the next chapter - you're not the only one curious about Boromir's reactions to Galadriel - but as it's such a crucial chapter I'm taking my time and trying to get everything right. Don't want to disappoint y'all! :) I'm so glad you're enjoying it so far, and I hope to continue it soon!

This is a brilliant piece of writing. Boromir has never been one of my favourite characters but you have really gotten into his head. By filling in some of the gaps in both the book and film of FotR, and by allowing us to experience the action through the eyes of Boromir, you have given us a glimpse into his soul. We see a basically honourable man as he struggles with temptation, and as I read I'm willing him to resist, even knowing that ultimately he will fail. I have always felt that the sign of a truely gifted writer is the ability to make the reader really care about the characters, and you have done that for me today. I look forward to reading the rest of the story and I hope in won't be too long in coming! Author Reply: Wow, thank you very much! I confess, Boromir was not at all a favorite of mine when I read the books, but I fell in love with Sean Bean in the movie and it made me pay a little more attention to Boromir. So when I read the books again, I had a better understanding of him and since then I've really grown to love him. I think he was a basically honorable man - with faults, of course, like anyone else - who *was* struggling to overcome temptation. To be honest I'm really dreading getting to the point where he fails the test, but as I go along, re-reading the books and re-watching the movie to look for further clues into his character, I'm finding that he did hold out pretty long, actually. Longer than some would have, at any rate, I'm sure. Thank you again for your kind compliments! I'm so glad that you're enjoying the story. Chapter 10 is in the works at this very moment - it's taking a bit more thought than some of the previous chapters, but I'm working on it and hopefully it will be up soon. :)

I really must commend you - I am only adding this to chapter 6 - but I promise I will make the time to go back and review each chapter individually. This characteristation of Boromir is nothing short of brilliant - everything you could imagine going through his head at various stages of the journey and all true to his sense of honour, nobility and compassion. I think he learned a lot along the journey and saw each member of the Fellowship for what they were worth - some of that realisation had to be seen in certain situations but see it he did. I have yet to get to Boromir's passages in my story, but I would never do him justice the way you have. But certainly your version of Boromir will be my source of inspiration and insightfulness. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent and I will certainly be looking for further updates. Keep up the great writing. JULES Author Reply: Wow, thank you so much, Jules! Boromir has been a challenge to characterize (especially since when I started writing this fic, I really wasn't very fond of him) but I've had a lot of fun doing it, and I grow to admire him more and more. I'm glad to know that you're enjoying it so far! Chapter 9 is finished and in the editing process, you hopefully it will be up soon, as well. :) Thanks again! Tathar
