| i very much enjoyed this story, I love the scene in the book where Aragorn tends Frodo and wish it had been in the film and bringing gandalf back is a nice idea Author Reply: Oh, Rose. | Okay - that was different - but not in a bad way - I have always loved the cave troll and spear scene - just wish there was a little more honesty about it. When Frodo says "I am not hurt" - I said "Yeah right" sarcastically. Your take was not what I suspected at all but very believable since Saruman was always trying to cast spells on the Fellowship during the journey. I have to write this scene into my story yet but want to change it somehow. I like how Frodo saw the pain he was feeling for dark dreams of his friends and companions and their lust after the ring.
