| Oooh!!! I LOVE this! As someone who often has odd, fanciful and sometimes disturbing dreams (along with the occasional prophetic type dream thrown in - sometimes correct, sometimes not - so I never count on them!) I can sympathize. Great job setting the mood and theme for each dream. Beautiful imagery! Bravo! | This is *such* a powerful dream! I had to read this through twice to really appreciate all the subtleties and your exquisite writing. The one thing that truly set Frodo apart from all other hobbits was his dreams, and you're showing this beautifully. Author Reply: Thank you so much! I was worried, when I posted this, that readers would miss some of the themes and messages -- certainly a good knowledge of the books, appendices and even a bit of the Silmarillion is needed to have enough background to *get* this dream. But even without those, hopefully it offers enough for readers' interpretations... Thank you again. | |
