| Nicely done! You have taken a short, visually gripping scene and breathed *more* life into it. I particularly liked Frodo's inner struggle with the Ring, and his victory over it in this instance. | Oh, I'm trembling here. Yes, yes. Frodo knew that the cloak could protect them. This story gave me a thought, though. What if the Ring has the effect to the men as it does to the Nazguls? What if It can reveal the hobbits' whereabouts by calling the men? Author Reply: Wow, sounds like a plot bunny for you! Luckily, the Dark Lord probably never informed anyone what a "call" from the Ring would feel/sound like, because he couldn't that imagine anyone would bring it anywhere within a hundred miles of Mordor. | |
