| I was exited to see a confronation between Legolas and Cothian finally. I liked how you used the concept of 'choice' in this chapter. I'm hoping to see some highly emotional material between Legolas and Rhinure in the next chapters, no words, just pure connection, like what you did at the end of this chapter. That was very good. Keep it comming. | |

| Wow... for me it was your best chapter so far. The action here was amazing, and so was beloved Thranduil. Finally someone who can read Rhinure. Legolas' reaction to his wife's choice also wounded me... poor thing! Thank you very much for the update! Author Reply: You're welcome - I will try to be more prompt in updates. Otherwise my muse decides to go into hibernation. I'm glad you like the chapter - it was one of the most difficult for me to write. It didn't take too long to write but the actual planning for it has taken me a year. This is one of the major chapters which I had outlines for so long I was afraid it just would not pan out. Phew! One hurdle passed ... lot's more to go. | |

| fan-bloody-tastic...........this has always been my very fav fic and i cant tell you how happy i was to see an update, i looooove thranduil and legolas' relationship and how much they obviously love and care for each other, i would love legolas and rhinure to be happy, he will need her to help him as the sea-longing gets worse, wonderful chapter once again, please, please, please update soon. love and hugs and thanks xxxxxx Author Reply: Thank you - I am flattered at your compliment. | I know I already said it, but Thranduil rocks in this chapter. He is so complex, such a strategist when it come to his rule as well as people. But my heart broke for Legolas.... he must feel a pawn. Understanding the need makes the reality no less painful. I hope we see more of you around now! | Well Cothoin was just trying to be protective..Avari's are thick headend.... I do feel compassion towards Cothion thoug. I hope Rhinure goes easy on him, but I don't think that will happen...... It seems unfair the way The king made Rhinure choose, but it must be done. I can see the logic. But still, I can't help but feel sorry for Rhinure. Great chapter!!!! Author Reply: Avari (and Cothion in particular) are definately thick-headed, though they would probably call it "standing by the truth" or something like that. Blindness comes in many forms. I am glad you feel sorry for Cothion - he is just trying to do what he thinks is right in his ham handed fashion. However, one should always think before jumping in - and in his case, think really hard. Poor Rhinure ... Thank you for reviewing. It means a lot to poor authors such as myself. | |

| Compelling chapter, Fan! First, Thranduil rules in every conceivable way. He is just so perceptive and so in charge. I wouldn't want to be the one to cross him. Second, the fight had my heart pounding. Those two were out of control and ready to do damage. And you so such a good job of showing how they all misunderstand one another. Author Reply: Thank for your review and I am happy I got your heart pounding. Exercise is always a good thing. I however, was very afraid I would make the fight come across as unbelievable - the two being elves and "perfect” and all. coming from you the comment means all the more since you write conflict brilliantly. | What a breathtaking chapter! Thranduil does need to talk with Legolas, who could definitely do with some insight concerning his wife... And I guess no one would like to be Cothion right now. Legolas and Rhinure deserve a break in Gondor and seeing her interact with people who are not Elves and for whom she is just an Elf and not an Avari will be interesting. Be quick in writing the next chapter! Can't wait to see how everything is going to work out. Prego Author Reply: Thranduil is wonderful isn't he - my favourite elf hands down.
