I`ve really enjoyed reading this story! I really liked Pippin`s determination to be a better Hobbit and learn from his mistakes.

Author Reply: Thank you, Anso! I did't want him to change in any drastic way, just enough to realize that crass humor isn't for every situation--or Pervinca. Thanks for reading and reviewing! Take care.

Oh, a wonderful ending! You're as bad as me with all the couples you've made in this one. And you made mention of Pippin and Myrtle as a couple (I've used them once, though mainly so that Pip could make Celandine jealous!). The ending was so perfect - thank you for that little Merry/Estella hint. You know what would be even better? A sequel! But, you don't have to :P

And I may just take up that offer to try my hand at the bonding scene. I'll have to see when I have the time :)

Author Reply: I think I've gotten to that part--chapter six, I believe (don't want to give anything away). I've used Celandine in an unposted story already, and seeing that she was the object of his affections in your story, too, I decided Myrtle needed some attention. I suppose I could've made up a character, but I think JRRT was winking when he wrote these two ladies as being around Pippin's age. Perhaps he was implying that he at least had the opportunity to play the field before meeting up with Diamond! :-P And to be honest, I had the story written all the way through chapter nine, but decided it wasn't "concluding" a lot of things, so I wrote chapter 10. It was sort of my "epilogue". You-know-who really was a scoundrel, Pippin really was growing up in that he was quite fond of a particular lass (I once wrote Merry having his first kiss at 16), and the tweens were off and on their way to adulthood in their party socializing. Thanks, Pervinca, for reading the story and reviewing! It means a lot. :-)

btw--I hope you eventually do find the time! I'd really like to read it!

Very cute story! Love the last line from Pippin about Merry and Estella's chances of getting married. Too funny!

Author Reply: Thank you, Grey Wonderer, for reading, and for all your reviews. Couldn't help myself in winking at it! I unintentionally lied in my last reply...but still, it will be a while before posting another. Take care...hope to see more of your own wonderful tales soon...
