| awwwwwwwwwwwww...how cute, a little Merry!!!!!!!! What a sweet little hobbit story, but poor Frodo seeing little Merry fall in the water like that!!! | Very nice! A story with a smile for an ending. I was laughing at stubborn little Merry in the beginning, even though he was being infuriating (very real!). Your characterisations of Esmeralda and Saradoc ring true; I liked them and can see why Merry turned out so well, with such parents raising him. Author Reply: Thank you, Lindelea! | |

| Awe, that was really good. Poor Frodo, I really felt for him when he saw Merry fall into the water, it must have been very hard, especially after what happened to his parents.
