Love it! Wonder if there's such a thing in Middle Earth! :) Author Reply: I wondered that too, while I was writing, and that was why I decided to work in the whole thing about the Numenoreans. But I suppose it could be something that the Haradhrim practise, maybe :P Thanks for reading

“Pervinca, could you ask Merry to pass the salt? Pim, would you tell Merry to kindly keep his napkin on his part of the table?” Ah...the passive-agressive Pippin! lol... I love this rendition of the bonding! And the connection with the Dunedain--I wouldn't have thought of that. Excellent story--well done! (applause) Take care, Pippinfan

I did this with a friend of mine a very long time ago and it was fun to read about the hobbits and the big folk doing it too. A very nice idea for a very nice story. Author Reply: You've actually done it? Wow, cool! I wondered if anyone might have. You'll have to give Pippinfan the credit for the idea, but I will accept all praise for the story ;P

Very cute! It's a nice touch to have the Numenoreans have started the Bond of Blood- it puts an interesting spin on things, and adds specialness to the bond. Author Reply: I'm glad that you enjoyed their envolvement. I was a little hesitant about it at first, but then I decided t go with it. Orginally, I was going to have Aragorn talking with Merry, but then I couldn't decide who he could have bonded with! Thank you for reading!

Off to a good start, little sister. Amazing how many stories we can tell about our baby brother. He and Merry are special indeed! Author Reply: That thought actually did occur to me as I wrote it. I wondered if there would ever be a lack in ideas for Pippin stories (or Merry stories, for that matter). I doubt there ever could be! Thanks for the review :)
