I just had to read this again; I had forgotten what devious, insidious, downright obnoxious creatures hobbits can be behind those sweet faces! And poor Pippin really was the best behaved this time (wonder of wonders). I imagine that, as Legolas traveled with and grew to understand them better, he might have revised his initial impression of them. While still learning to love them. It never fails to amaze me how you capture the very essence of hobbits; their contradictions, their humor, their closeness, while still retaining their individuality and dignity. Poor Legolas! And yet he still accounts himself honored to be abused by them... |

I just read your story that had been nominated for the MPA. I do wish you would reconsider accepting that nomination as I greatly enjoyed the story and feel it would stand a pretty darn good chance in that category, but if you don't, at keast if this review is posted anywhere for the public to see they will know that a nomination had indeed come through for this story. :) If you do reconsider just send me a note. If you don't I still hope to see more of your stories online. |

Love it. Fond as I am of elves, they do take themselves a little to seriously. I am glad to see the hobbits at play! |

unattractive! Bwahaha, Pippin! But of course, you will see all creatures different from you as strange, in the beginning, although you're the fairest elf!
I read the magazine article! Hilarious! Almost sounded like an RPS itself. |
