Scribblings  by Baylor 6 Review(s)

Poor little Ruby! She will never be able to hear her mother sing! It hardly seems far that this should happen to one of Sam's children or to anyone for that matter! But it does make the characters seem more realistic. I looooooooved the description of Merry and Pippin haha thats all it really needs!

I love this! I'm always interested to see how different authors portray all these characters we never get to meet in the books, and you bring them to life beautifully.

Merry and Pippin
“We really should of known better than to name those lads Merry and Pippin,” Sam said to Rose after one particularly difficult day.

“Aye,” Rose agreed.

Heehee! That pretty much says it all really ;)good chapter!

Couldn't agree with you more on the case of the family trees. I'm sure you are aware Tolkien wrote that they--Merry and Pippin--left their books and offices to "their sons". He said there just wasn't enough room to write everybody's offspring in the Trees. I imagine Merry and Estella were quite 'productive'; in fact, I imagine them and Pippin & Diamond with many children. :-)
