| Great story! I myself was wondering what possibly happened at that part of the book(Merry is my favorite character). I liked your deepwater theory. I noticed in the Fellowship that when Tom Bombadill rescues the hobbits from the barrow wight he tells them that they escaped from 'deep water'. Great story. Hope you wright more.
