| An unusual and much needed additional scene prior to the coronation. Pippin shows his new found maturity and certainly deserves to be a knight of Gondor. Aragorn shows his "quality" in reminding Pip that he's still his friend Strider for a bit longer! | |

| Just wonderful. I had never thought of how confused Pippin might be about his standing since Denathor had released him from service. A very enjoyable read. Author Reply: Well, I figured being released from service with the words "Go now and die in what way seems best to you..." might just make Pippin a tad stressed. Especially considering his need for reassurance from Aragorn in the book when they part from the King... Glad you enjoyed it... | |

| What a sweet story! I love your Pippin and Aragorn, and the way they seem to understand one another. I'd also love to see another chapter (the knighting, and Pippin's thoughts during the crowning). | Oh, this is lovely. I always thought that Pippin would need some clarification from Aragorn and this clears things up nicely. Very sweet and touching with some great characterizations. I love the bit about Aragorn sprawling. :) Author Reply: I am glad the characterization worked for readers. As for sprawling...well, I have to admit to having Viggo's image in my head as I wrote, and I could see him reverting to Ranger in unguarded moments. | |
