Stars in The Dark  by Budgielover 2 Review(s)

The description of the fight against the Kraken was excellent - creepy and acton-laden at the same time. The nature of the wounds... really chilling. I've never gave it a thought what the beast's touch might have caused, but it's really convincing. And I loved Gimli's healing hypnosis. A truly unique idea!

Budgie, you should write a novel or something! You come up with the msot creative plots, and you're one of the very best at suspense, adventure, action, humour, and h/c, and your villains are some of the best I've read--and I'm not just talking about fanfic, either.

Oh! Poor Frodo! Ugh! What a horrible experience. But the ring technique is very creative and seemed to work. Nice to see Gimli acting healer--that's rare. :)

Poor Pippin--to have to walk all alone in a drainage tunnel. Big gigantic rats...roaches...*shudders* You convey the horror of the destruction of Moria very well, and I can certainly understand why Pippin wept; I myself was blinking back tears.

The ending is so chilling. Must read the next in the series!
God bless,
Galadriel
