The Steward's Coup  by Shireling 3 Review(s)

I Love the last scene which Faramir fell asleep next to Aragorn. Woo-what an adventure you had us go through with Aragorn being captured. IT was all great writing!

Phew *fliewatuet wipes sweat off her forehead* I am glad that Aragorn is found at last. And not too early, as it seems. I am sorry, though, that Lord Corrin is so ill. He seemed such a fine man from the bits and pieces of information you gave about him, and without him, Aragorn would have most likely not been found in time. It's a pity that the Man who ultimately safed the King's life will probably not live long enough for Aragorn to at least express his thanks.

But my favourite part was the closing scene. Faramir was so wound up over that whole business and it was good to see him relax in the end, even though in a position that he will no doubt regret in the morning.

Oh good. This turned up to brighten a really gloomy dark wet and generally miserable afternoon.

Phew - Aragorn is safe (for the moment). And Faramir is sleeping and safe (for the moment). I'm glad Gimli was there - I think labyrinths are suitable places for dwarves to show their skills.

It's a good thing that Lord Corrin lasted that extra twenty four hours. It could have been a touch disastrous if he had popped his clogs just as they walked through the door.

Good chapter.
