Yes, to at last need not to accomplish, but simply to know, and to hear the Song reflected in the rhythms of the Sea. Lovely. Author Reply: There are few things as calming as the sea.

Oh, another thing to have in common with hobbits! :) Why use one word when you can use 10? Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: Exactly :) Why simple when it's possible to do things in a complicated way.

Just beautiful, Lily! Coel-na-mara, Sound of the Sea! If that is what you see and feel when you look outside your window, you must be happy indeed :) I can now understand very well what Tolkien wanted to express when he spoke of the Sea-Longing! Thank you! Author Reply: I can't hear it from my room, but I was there today, sitting on a log at the shore for almost an hour simply gazing into the vast blue before me. Very calming, indeed. All worries were forgotten. Thank you! :)

With a joyous dart, he made for King Éomer's tent. He had to tell Merry. I can see him darting over the Field of Cormallen. Really a joyous moment for Pippin. And I think that Merry, when he hears the good news, will be the happiest hobbit in the world, for not only his younger cousin was given back to him, but also his older cousin. And he'll be glad that Pippin behaves like Pippin again, regardless of what the Gondorian soldiers or King Eomer might think :) Author Reply: You speak true here, my dear. Very true.

The way the news was originally conveyed was perfect--"Yes!" Author Reply: Succinct - very unlike Pippin somehow. He must have been really amazed :)

It's been a while since I read this, so I read it again. Still love it and can empathize with Frodo's frustration. Author Reply: I'm happy to hear that.
