Oh, hello! I was scrolling through some stories and found this one. This is great! And I love your bio! I am also a Christian, although I can't say that I owe it to the reading of LOTR like you did. That is a fantastic story.

Anyway, I just love "Withywindle." You are really talented -- this is so creative and well-written! But it's late and I'm going to save the next chapters for some delicious reading tomorrow. Thanks for all your hard work in sharing your vision with us other fic readers and writers. I just love visiting M-E through all these beautiful tales.

Author Reply: I am so glad you are enjoying this one! It's always nice to get a review for a story that has been up a while. And Tom Bombadil is not everybody's cup of tea, though he's a favorite of mine. Thank you for all the kind things you say; I'm having so much fun with my stories, it's good to see that others have fun with them, too!
Thanks for your kind reviews!

This sounds interesting. I have to laugh at Sam though, being worried about the Old Forest after facing Shelob and the horrors of Mordor. Maybe they don't quite realize how much they've grown (even if Pippin is still a slug-abed).

Author Reply: Of course he would not remember their first encounter with fondness, and so the caution. But you will notice he had no hesitation about going--nor, indeed, of badgering Frodo into going, for his own good.
