Fantastic story, Melilot!!! I always love a story filled with sweet moments between Paladin and Pippin. I, too, am an advocate that these two were very loving and very close. I loved the Cloud Story! So cute and original--did this come from your own childhood images of clouds? ;-) And last, but certainly NOT least, congratulations on being a Recommendation this week! Thank you for sharing your story! Pippinfan Author Reply: Thank you :) I never thought about eating clouds when I was a child :). But I did write that kind of stories back then (I read a few of the stories my mother saved as inspiration for Pippin's story and to get the tone right.) (And I was thrilled when I saw my story was one of the Recommendations.)

Cute, and believable. Paladin's reaction was very true to life: shouting at his son at first in shock and then becoming warm and comforting when he had himself back under control. I didn't know that fact about children's bones breaking differently from adults'. Learned something. Ah, Pip, you're quite the storyteller, even at age seven! Author Reply: Thank you for your review. It's good to hear you think Paladin's reaction was true. If you want to learn even more: the fracture I was referring to is called "Greenstick fracture" (Hope my translation is right.)

Very cute story. Loved the story that Pippin made up for his father in order to stay awake. Author Reply: Thank you. I really enjoyed writing the tale Pippin told. As a child I used to write stories like that, although this one is new :).
