| This is a marvelous fill-in to that scene! I think you captured every action and emotion perfectly. And I'm so glad you ended it with Sam's arrival! Author Reply: Thanks, Shirebound! I remember watching it a couple of days ago when I got my copy of "Return of the King", and you have captured the essence of Frodo's thoughts and feelings with remarkable clarity. The profound loss, the sadness, the despair...all come through so vividly in your writing. Keep up the good work!
