I've been reading all your other stories, in order, and want to tell you how much I think your writing has improved with each one. Your spelling, grammar, and all the other technical skills have increased dramatically since you began, and I must say you have a real talent for capturing the style of Tolkien's writing. I found little to criticize in any of your stories, except perhaps a misuse of a word here and there. "Shall" is only used with "I" never with "You" or "they". It's a first person verb. don't know why, but it irritates me to no end when it's used incorrectly, and it pulls me out of the story, instead of letting me immerse myself in it as I wish to do. That's a very nit-picky little thing, but then I've been accused of being obsessive about things like that. Do go on writing. It's hared to believe you are so young. You have great talent, and I look forward to reading more of your work as you mature. Author Reply: Thank-you so much for the comments! I've been told before I write like Tolkien and that's the best complimant I have ever received. Thank-you. I would have never guessed grammar rules like that even exist (hating grammar as I do) so I'm glad you pointed it out. I'll try to remember it. I understand about nit-picky things hindering you when you read, it happens to me as well. I plan to keep on writing for a while. Thanks again for your comments!

Just exactly the kind of reaction Frodo would have had; of course, he did not count on the stubborness of friends, but Gandalf did. Very lovely and believable gap-filler. Author Reply: Thank-you so much for your comments! I'm so glad you enjoyed it.

That was a great story! i really hope for more! i really like your dialogue and your Frodo sounds very believable =) thanks a lot..this was a great gap-filler story =) keep writing!!! :D hannon le, mellon nin~ Author Reply: I'm glad you enjoyed the dialogue; I normally avoid it as much as possible, but Frodo is easier for me to write for some reason. Thank-you so much for the comments! ...Tialys

Excellent. I can well imagine that this would have been Frodo's exact reaction! And he did give Sam the option to turn back, many times. Well done. Author Reply: I always pictured Frodo as more outspoken and it only seemed natural that a conversation like this would take place. Since there was nothing about it in the book I had a lot of freedom to write it how I chose. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks!

The book never did say how Frodo reacted and when I found the quote at the beginning I just had to write about it. I'm glad you enjoyed it! ...Tialys
