Thanks! "Suspended animation" ...at this point my education is there too. =P Author Reply: Sorry to hear that your education is 'suspended' - hope you get on track soon (if that's what you want). I teach, and when my 8:00 class starts in the fall and I look out over the zombies, I'll be thinking "suspended animation" ;).

Well worth the wait! ^_^ (Sorry it's been so long...) I live for stuff like this! Makes me wish I hadn't read it so I could have the experience again. I look forward to MORE from my newest favourite. :) Author Reply: You're very kind - glad you enjoyed it. It was the first fic I ever wrote, so I have a soft spot for this one.

Hello again! :) What really ticks me off is that the Mari-person, such as she is, gets to have HIM. That is NOT FAIR. And this kind of thing happens in OUR world much more often than it should. *sigh... perks up* Where are these Boromances you've read? Email me offsite, kay? On to Chapter 2, in which I hope to read that death from alcohol poisoning involves convulsions... :D Author Reply: Alas, I should have said I *would* like to read them if there were any out there worth reading. The only one I've really liked so far is a WIP that's been in suspended animation for a couple of years and isn't on a public sight. :( sorry. If I come on any worthy ones, I'll let you know.

Oooooookay. This is very good! Thing is, I've been pestering some people to speculate on the women in Boromir's past, but I had in mind someone less... well, different than this Mari-person (where's the iron maiden when you need her?) Perhaps, new favourite, you're not done with Boromances? ;) Author Reply: :) Hi - glad you enjoyed it. Yep, the Mari-person is an evil B indeed. Obviously came out of some dark corner of my psyche or other. I'm afraid my Boromances, what few there are, tend to mild slash, so women in B's past don't figure in much. I like to *read* hetero Boromances, but don't tend to write them. Thanks for reading!

Oh, Flick, how did I ever miss this? It's gorgeous. I'm still in tears. Thank you for such a tender vision of Boromir, and such a lovely and memorable character as Adrah. Ann Author Reply: I'm so happy you liked my baby. I'll admit I have a soft spot for this one. It was the first Tolkien fic I wrote when I got into the fandom, and the first fiction I had written at all in donkey's years.

Lovely tale. It has occurred to me recenty that Boromir is one of the most tragic figures in LOTR. He is a great man brought low, trying to do what is right and failing. Your story gives him another dimension and a moment of love. Author Reply: I think you're absolutely right that Boromir is a tragic figure. It seems even his virtues work against him. Your story gives him another dimension and a moment of love. Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Ahhh. Poor Boromir. He deserved a happy ending. I'm so glad he had that brief moment of joy with his daughter - and that she had that to remember him. Author Reply: Ahhh. Poor Boromir. He deserved a happy ending. ;) My sentiments exactly. I haven't written an AU where he lives yet, but it made me happy to write something where at least a part of him lives on. Thanks for reading!
