sokat I am moved yet again by reading this story for the second time. Tears streaming down my face and the nobility of the great Chieftan of the Mearas and the trust displayed by Eomer and finally Lothiriel. Its just a beautiful well crafted story. :)

Ooooh...okay, I'm impressed. I had not a whit of an idea where you were going with that and I loved the ritual! Mearas indeed...that makes perfect sense. You write beautifully, for characters and their relationships. Author Reply: Thank you songspinner, glad you enjoyed it, Eokat.

OH that was lovely. I've been so curious to learn what the ceremony would be and you've made it so appropriate to the Rohirrim. I also liked the idea that Lothiriel becomes one with her new people on this day too. You wrote the baby very well. I could just picture him chewing on his fist. Author Reply: Thank you Daw, glad you enjoyed it. I too love little Elfwine. Sigh, takes me back....Eokat.

Very well done, Eokat! So this was the rite? A mearas, swearing fealty and protection for the newborn prince. I don't know how you came up with all that, but it was pretty impressive. I look forward to more of your work. :) Author Reply: Thank you Drake, so glad you enjoyed the last chapter. I have got a few more irons in the fire, so watch this space...Eokat.

Please don't be upset. I merely was saying I was overly anxious to know everything once this story comes to it's finality in the next chapter. So much so that I've been checking every day in hopes for an update. Author Reply: Eomer I am not upset at all. I only replyed in the tongue in cheek way that you reviewed. All will be revealed and I hope it does not disappoint, Eokat.

Ahh. I love the golden lights of his hair driving her wild! Dol Amrothians prefer Blondes. So much affection in this chapter - more heart-warming than the lust! Author Reply: Thank you Bodkin, I needed to get them together again before the next chapter. Glad you are enjoying this, Eokat.

Still don't know what the bloody rite is, and will be waiting on pins and needles for the next update. Author Reply: Well Eomer, you fill find out what the *bloody* rite is in the next chapter!!! You will have to suffer a few more pins and needles!!! Eokat.

This was a wonderful chapter, full of the little details that show the love of husband, wife, and child and also show them to be uniquely Rohirric. The love making was passionate and the love was gentle. I like this a lot. Author Reply: Thank you daw, I found this one quite hard to write actually, but I am glad that you enjoyed it. I wanted to make them in accord before the ceremony. Eokat.

Culture clashes are very difficult - but Lothiriel must have known they would happen. Edoras is not Dol Amroth. I'm glad she is making up with Eomer - and that he has softened somewhat towards her. He was being a bit rough! I also want to know what this ceremony involves!! If they intend to make him blood brother to a Mearas, I can understand her doubts. If it's mare's milk - well, hey, it's only milk and Elfwine is six months now. Author Reply: Thank you for reviewing, Bodkin. Yes Lothiriel was well aware of the culture difference when they were wed. But now she is a mother and has a babe to care for and to protect. Motherhood can alter our pespective on certain issues. Am already writing the next chapter. Eokat.

ah very nice. Romantic and passionate. I do like the way Lothiriel decides to trust Eomer. And I also like the nonsense she spouts to the baby. I have to say, I loved nursing my son. It was the only time in my life I've ever felt able to totally satisfy someone else. Author Reply: Thank you Daw, yes Lothiriel has realised she must trust him, and is deeply ashamed of her harsh words. I have to agree with you, I loved nursing my son also. Eokat.
