Gosh, I re-read your stories so often! Sometimes I need to wallow in tender, loving Pippin-comfort, and I run right to one of your stories. “But Frodo – we’re falling behind!” Pippin protested, even as he felt his eyes begin to droop. He wanted so badly to be able to stay awake! “It’s too important…” “No, Pippin,” Aragorn’s voice whispered, trailing him into sleep. “What is important is that we get there together.” *happy sigh*

Well...What can I say...Except WOW!!....I've been sitting here now with a blank review sheet in front of me for the last 5 mins, wondering what and how on earth I could put into words what I want to say...So here goes... This for me was brilliant!...I've often wondered if I am the only person in the world who thought that Gandalf (I never did like Gandalf much!!) and sometimes Aragorn pushed the Hobbits far too much!...I also thought that sometimes that they forgot that the Hobbits aren't human, and really were only the size of young children...Afterall, you wouldn't expect children to keep up with adults and so you slow down your pace to suit their speed, wouldn't you??... (If you ever planned on getting to your destination eventually, with everyone in one piece that is!)...I also thought that Gandalf used emotional blackmail far too often at times on them too, if they questioned any of his motives too closely...which is why I was so pleased to see Frodo and especially Merry come back at Gandalf and Aragorn with such venom for a change, instead of meekly accepting everything they were told as they usually do!...Did the 'BIG' People really expect them to just 'accept' Pip's untimely 'death' as an accident?.. or as a 'casualty of war?'.. when they so thoughtlessly caused it in the first place with their relentless pushing!...If they had stopped to rest earlier, when they could see how worn out the Hobbits were, they may have found out sooner what was wrong with Pip, and he may not have become so seriously ill!... Poor Pip!... I must say as well, that I am not really a Frodo lover...I'm a big Pippin and Merry fan...But your Frodo in this story was so absolutely fantastic that I might change my mind and start liking him a lot more!...Yay!..Go to it Frodo!..and Merry!...what can you say about Merry??...Except that if you put his Pippin's life in danger, especially deliberately then 'LOOK OUT'...He's not going to take it lying down!!!....I really loved this, and it's going into my favourite stories list...Once again Thank-you for a wonderful exciting story

Wow! That was a tense story! All the anger and mistrust going on between Fellowship members! I like how stronge you made Frodo! The way he stood up to everyone on what was most important! Gandalf holding Pippin was very touching. Merry's near assault on Aragorn was something, I always imagined Merry with a bit of a temper and it being quite powerful when unleashed, at least he was diverted. His passion being just as strong in a fierce hug as well! I'm glad everything was resolved so well you ended it wonderfully with the darkness being banished! Thank you!

Now this is what I call drama...the thought of Frodo throwing Aragorn into the Cracks of Doom after the Ring. I fully believe he'd do it, too. Well done!

This is a wonderful title. I really enjoyed seeing Frodo acting as the mature and responsible Ringbearer and putting his foot down. Poor Pippin - he seems to spend a lot of time at death's door, but at least he always escaped and lives to fight another day.
