What an effective and evocative picture of a Dwarf-woman is shown with just a few words. Nice writing, anmarwalk! Regards - Chathol-linn

Oh this is lovely! So sweet. I do like the idea of Gimli having someone at home waiting for him, and the suggestion that it will not become an open romance for whatever reason makes it all the more poignant. This is perfect, just enough to tease the appetite, but not so much as to risk full romance or, Valar forbid, Mary Suedom. Very well done.

That's lovely. Gimli needs someone to admire him. The dwarves are really neglected in fanfic in general. Even Legolas's friendship with Gimli is often played down in favor of one with Aragorn. I liked this. Author Reply: Thank you for your kind words, Daw. Ann

Big ahh. I love stories that look at dwarves - they get so little attention. Silly Gimli, son of Gloin - why couldn't he see what he was missing! Author Reply: Yep, that's what happens when country boys leave their hometown and head out into the wide world! Once Gimli discovered all those tall blondes, this little dwarf maid didn't stand a chance. Ann
