What a lovely little loose thread to tie up so well, in the way of men. A little wine allows them to show a deep emotion and feeling. Thank you for writing ErinRua such a nice birthday gift and sharing it with all of us. Happy Birthday, ErinRua! Author Reply: A little wine allows them to show a deep emotion and feeling. ;) Yep, sometime guys need a little oil to grease those emotional wheels (at least the guys I know). Thanks for reading it and taking the time to comment.

What a marvelous piece of writing. You've shown the customs very well and what a wonderful gift, even if Eomer was dubious about the reception. You must know horses, what a nice touch that the horse recognized the similarities in Boromir and Faramir's voices. Nice bit of bonding between the men as well. Author Reply: You must know horses, what a nice touch that the horse recognized the similarities in Boromir and Faramir's voices. Hi, Lasse-Lanta. Thanks for your kind review. I actually don't know horses very well, but I had just gotten back from a week at a ranch, so I had horses on the brain. I thought the voice recognition thing was a plausible thing, since horses seem to be very intelligent. So far nobody has told me, "No way..." :)

Lovely!:) What a wonderful way to tie up a little loose end, and put a new stroke on the friendship of these men! I really enjoyed that, thank you for sharing it with us. On a further note, I believe the singular of Rohirrim can be either Rochir or Rohir. I say this because I had a story with a Gondorian man named Rochmir, and was told his name could be spelled Rohmir if I wished it.

That was a touching story. I think Balarof is quite the appropriate gift for Faramir. Author Reply: That was a touching story. I think Balarof is quite the appropriate gift for Faramir. Thanks so much. I especially appreciate that coming from you. I have read some of your fine work and know that the Mark is home territory for you.

Awww...brotherly bonding fluff. I love it. Just a small grammatical note--the singular of Rohirrim (Rochirrim) is Rohir or Rochir. Thought you might like to know! Author Reply: ...the singular of Rohirrim (Rochirrim) is Rohir or Rochir. Thought you might like to know! I *did* want to know -- thanks! Fixed now. I don't play around in the Mark very often, so I wouldn't have caught that. Glad you liked the fluff-stuff. ;)

When the horse heard Faramir's voice, it seemed to look at them for the first time. A read the first few chapters of 'Boon' this morning and I had a feeling where you were going with this. Very nice, Flick. Nice weaving together and the horse looking up like that. I felt it. Lindorien Author Reply: Nice weaving together and the horse looking up like that. I felt it. Lindorien Thanks, Lindorien. I thought it was fair to imply that he would have recognized the similarities in voices without making him seem *too* implausibly unhorsey. :)
