Ahhhh... A breath of fresh air and wondrous wisdom from the pen of the King of Gondor. Legolas, be wise; listen to your friend!

Yay! Aragorn to the Rescue!

Now, how will Legolas react, I wonder? Both Gimli and Aragorn agree on this issue. Will he see reason or will the opposition just make him more stubborn then ever? Hmm.

Ah! Finally a true word from a very close and very wise friend! Thanks the Valar for Aragorn and his close friendship with Legolas! Now I only hope this will get through to Legolas fogged mind, and he will not begrudge it his friend to be so open. Listen to Aragorn, Legolas!

Masterly done, this leter and al the rest; this story is really great! I can't wait to read more!

Ah. I'm very much relieved! Now I'm almost sure Legolas will not marry Laustarie... thank you! Aragorn is right, if she cannot understand the effort he has put into building those lands and his great battle skills then she doesn't truly know who he is and therefore can't love him. When you love someone, you love both that person's virtues and worse qualities. You love that person as a whole and not because of a), b) or c).
I was also hoping we could get a description of the next tournament and all the activities there. Can it be arranged? ;)

Yes! Yes! I was waiting for Aragorn to pitch in, and again he's said everything exactly right, and I do hope that Legolas listens to him. Surely he respects and loves Aragorn more than any other Man - he cannot ignore him, nor the truth of his warnings.

"a maid who does not nor cannot deserve you." Truer words were never spoken. And further, this revelation of their uncomfortableness together, that they cannot even share small talk, is something that Legolas himself has noted as being wrong.

So wake up and smell the miruvour, Legolas, and DUMP THE TWIT. And please, don't get involved with anyone else either. All this romantic twatter is enough to give even an Elf ulcers.

Wow! Even Aragorn is speaking plainly to Legolas now. Surely he'll listen and at least tell his mother all in a letter that will make her hurry up and come check this silly numskull of a female out for herself and see she's unfit. *hoping so like mad*

And the next time Arwen is in her presence she'll dig into her verbally, eh? *smiling at the thought* I'm soooooooooooooo looking forward to seeing what comes of that. I can see it now, Laustaire will pen a letter to someone who's theme is "woe is me" all over the place, looking for sympathy when she has a big enough pity party for herself all the time, the nincompoop. *making a face now*

I'm too greedy, I know, but I want more. Soon as your schedule aka family allows, of course. *vbg*

[feels heart rate going down a little] Phew! At least we have one more *male* ally against The Brat. Wonderful, as ever, to read.

Oh my God...this was absolutely fantastic! I'm glad to see Aragorn come to Legolas' defense in this matter. I was beginning to fear that Legolas would simply marry the little shrew without another word.

"To be honest my Undómiel has ever been opposed to this union, though she did admit to me her chagrin was due in part to her desire to awaken your interest in one of her own friends; now however she has recanted this wish, saying perhaps you are not meant to be wed, and urging emphatically you ought certainly not be wed to your betrothed." - You go, Arwen! If she weren't already married, I'd probably kiss her myself for this one.

"If after these past months you still find in Laustairë nothing save her physical form to so attract you this is no good thing, for though as an Elf her loveliness shall fade not there is no inherent advantage in beauty save as entertainment for the eyes. " - Well said, Aragorn. There's more to being a good wife than simply being eye candy.

A beautiful chapter...let's see what Legolas thinks now!
