My Dear Bandobras  by Le Rouret 4 Review(s)
CorielReviewed Chapter: 11 on 8/8/2004
Just now got a chance to come read. Choices, choices! Poor Legolas. I don't expect him to go to such great lengths as to cut his hair short as did St. Cathrine of Sienna in order to discourage suitors, but at least he could tone down his wardrobe a bit.

Really enjoyed Thranduil's overall attitude as conveyed through his letter, by the way. Blunt and practical as always. ;)

Aww, poor Legolas. Angsty because of his marriage dilemma, angsty because he feels bad for Laustaire, angsty because of the drowned Hobbits...

I hope nothing bad has happened to Cirdan's delegation.

Too cute, that last line! He really OUGHT to end their misery and marry Diamond very quickly. ;) *vbg*

What a horrible tragedy you wrote about, all those Hobbits dying like that. Almost made me cry, to read Bandobras descriptions of those events. I hope that's the worst thing you have in this story, since you warned us this won't be a happy fic.

I'm beginning to have a sneaking suspicion you're also going to have Legolas fall for this chick and then be heartbroken in some way. :( Are you? *curious*

Don't marry the girl just to please your mother, Legolas! You've just been telling Bandobras the same thing.

On the other hand, you are in serious need of family - as seen in your love of all the children around you!
