| Ah, dear, you made me laugh at a time I really needed to! Thanks! I can so see Pippin going home leaving behind a special squad of the King's Guard wearing the Took plaid kilt so that Aragorn would never forget him, lol. Have you noticed in RoTK that Pippin is wearing Billeh's proper family plaid at the Grey Havens? A nice touch I think! : ) Author Reply: Thanks! I'm glad that I gave you a laugh! I think Pippin's going to do more than just be a bad influence. He might actually succeed! I had noticed the Boyd tartan at the end of ROTK-that's partially what made me decide to include hobbit tartan. If Pippin was wearing it in the film, they must have had it im ME. :) | |

| I have great difficulty picturing the Tooks in Highland livery. It seems so unhobbity. Pippin, on the other hand, I can imagine in almost anything. Except pink tulle. I feel for Aragorn. And Faramir is learning. This is fun. | |

| They are called kilts. Oh, you twisted woman, what an image you have put in my mind! “Do you think that anyone would notice if Merry and Pippin were to disappear? I have the strange desire to send them home tied up in a sack.” Poor Aragorn, it's his own fault for making the hobbits wait around for his wedding. If he'd been thinking ahead, he would have sent Merry and Pippin off on some spurious scouting mission or something, just to get them out of his hair for a while, lol. | |

| That was too funny! I laughed from the time Legolas proclaimed "It's not my fault" to the last line about forgetting things when hobbits were involved! There were so many little lines that I loved and added the right spirit to the whole thing! Aragorn only warning them because he knew that hobbits would only retaliate if he were to punish them! I can't wait to read more about this livery that is giving Pippin such problems! Thank you for the laughs! | |

| 'So, the King and the Elf were both afraid of the hobbits.' Well, they had had a lot of experience of the level of chaos that a few small hobbits could create. Fear is a wise reaction. If Faramir had greater knowledge, he would have shared it. 'Once again, he was absurdly tangled up, but had managed to get both his tunic and his trousers…off.' Drunken, semi-naked hobbit. I do hope Aragorn et al retrieved the clothing from the light fitting - (although I would have feared that Minas Tirith light fitting + clothing would = fire). Author Reply: Thanks! And fear is a *very* wise reaction where hobbits are concerned. :) *I would have feared that Minas Tirith light fitting + clothing would = fire* I had kind of pictured the lighting fixture to be like a chandelier, therefore enabling hte clothes to be away from the candles. I just couldn't find the right words to describe it! | |
