| Wow I am forgetful :) I was also going to mention (and this is good) the first part really sounded like you were talking about Shakespeare's Henry V. "A touch of Harry in the night" and so on. Instead of sleeping he would walk among his men, etc. | |

| Sigh...was he speaking to himself or Boromir? I don't remember the last time I read this scene happening in the present. It was nice. One thing though. Boromir obviously is the Blade of Gondor, but is that here the first thing Faramir will think of him as? | |

| Wow! I really thought it was Faramir who had fallen in at first. Boromir didn't know how to swim? I also almost immediately thought of when B&F and the other two (who I sometimes imagine as Beregond and Damrod, or similar) escape Osgiliath. I even knew before I read it that Boromir would reply "of course I did". I am glad they support each other in all things; they certainly need it. But really every single thing? --Fimbrethil | |

| Very nice, but many other friends and even other people would have liked to add something to the letter, if they had known. Boromir would care at least about Aragorn and Imrahil. | |

| I really enjoyed this and think you have a real talent for writing the cameraderie between the brothers. I liked the slightly different styles you had in each chapter, and especially liked how the 3rd harkened back to the story you wrote of Faramir's boats. Truly excellent. | |
