I always liked the Sindar so I was naturally attracted to this story. I actually had read this a few days ago, and I apologise, but never got the chance to review until just now. "Also, listen! I hear the sea calling." Is a very good line in an 'Elvy' sort of way that just fits. |

That was a nice one! It was facinating to see another facet of a tragic sequence I have described myself, from another point of view, and which holds special significance for me. It was interesting to imagine all that going on at the same time, just behind Elwing's party. :) That Silmaril -- the Sindar have to have an odi-et-amo (love-hate) relationship with it by that point; it's only caused them grief, and will only continue to do so until it's finally swept away as a star.
