| After reading your sequel to this, I decided to read this one over again. I love it just as much this time around. I have to say, I do hope we are going to see a good deal more of the Mudfoots and Ilberic. I really like the Mudfoots very much as OCs, and now that Ilberic has been rehabilitated so to speak... I'd love to see a story where he confronts his mother after he has been away from her influence for a while. | |

| Aw! That was absolutely adorable! Poor Pippin. I like Paladin and Saradoc a lot as well as the Mudfoots. Ilberic is a spoiled brat! I would have smacked him silly if I had been there. Merry is so cute in the end! This was an adorable story and was weel worth the time it took to read. Keep up the great work! | |

| I am glad you have posted this story here. I think it is one of the best things you have written. Pippin's indignation at being thought a liar comes across so well, as does his heartbreak at not being believed. The best part, though, was our lad's time with the farming family and the story of their tragedy. That was so beautifully written that it made me tear up. I can so see how this little adventure helped form the Pippin we have learned to love. | |

| I enjoyed this one so much on the challenge site that I decided to read it again here and so I thought it only fair to leave a review here. This is a great story which can easily be read several times and enjoyed each time. I wouldn't mind a story about more of the Mudfoot's farm life either. (hint) | |
