Oh, what a lovely family scene. You wrote little Legolas very well - he seems a very loving child, and such a bundle of energy! His excitement brought a smile to my face. “Nana is always beautiful, Ada.” LOL! Silly Thranduil for not realising that...;-) I loved the end with his very indulgent parents. His mother is clearly genuinely touched and of course Thranduil is clever enough to get the child to do the right thing without disappointing him. I really enjoyed this. It's a great piece and very well done. :-) Author Reply: Thant you. I have always loved Legolas as a small child and pictured him as both loving and energetic, so that is how I write him. When I wrote that line about Lúnneld being beautiful, I could just hear Legolas admonishing his father for what he perceived as a lack of that realization on Thranduil's part. I think after four other children, Thranduil and Lúnneld have a good idea how to handle this most precocious child without stifling his curiosity and energy. Thank you for the compliment. It is much appreciated.

Very sweet and adorable, WW. :-D My favorite line was: “Nana is always beautiful, Ada,” said Legolas, making it clear he thought his father should have already realized that . I'd say someone besides ada has been enchanted by nana. ;-) Author Reply: Thanks, Karri. That was one of my favorite lines, too. I could just hear the admonishment in his voice, when he said it. I love Legolas with his nana. I will probably write more like this.

Very nice little piece. Impatient Legolas slowing down enough to exit his father's study and enter the kitchen was very cute. So was the image of Legolas exploring the new glade. Nicely done. Author Reply: Thank you. I like the idea of elfling Legolas in motion and of course, his parents would have to *try* and curb him a bit in the palace. But I wanted him to be free while in the forest.
