Turning Leaves  by Dragon 4 Review(s)

You are doing an excellent job of showing Elladan's impatience and restlessness. I like Glorfindel's holding him back and being willing to stand up to Elrond in this matter. I also like Elrihir's elvish whimsicality and acceptance that things happen in time. Elleadan sounds far more "mortal" than Elrohir. I supect Elladan is about to get into a lot of trouble.

Well written.. I look forward to the next chapter!

Hm, I see that the divergent paths the twins started down in Elrond's Boys have separated even farther. You're one of the few writers to postulate so many differences between the two. I'm looking forward to see if their differences continue or if the two paths start heading back towards each other.

Elladan's impatience worries me. I fear he is heading for a major fall. I get the feeling that Glorfindel agrees with me. :(

I thought it was interesting that Glorfindel would disagree so passionately with Elrond over the twins' immediate future. Another thing that caught my eye was while the end result for the twins was the same -- Glorfindel would not accept either into his company -- Glorfindel's reasons for rejecting them were dramatically different.

Obviously I found this a very intriguing beginning, Dragon. Looking forward to more!

Thanks for the review! I always did see the twins as being very different - perhaps as I am a twin and my brother and I are very different. Eventually their paths will lie alongside each other again, but I doubt that it will be in this story - at least for a while.

Elladan is heading for a ... learning curve, certainly! *g*

Elladan has all the moody stressed-out arrogance of a late adolescent. How did the world manage to get along before he arrived to save it? Poor boy - it's a horrible age to be, even though it'll be another couple of centuries before he realises just how much he made everyone grit their teeth and force smiles on their faces.

Elrohir seems to have decided that he will not compete with his brother - which is probably wise. They will be adults for a long long time, after all. Carpe diem, Elrohir. Enjoy the music and company of your friends while you can.

Author Reply: *grins* That review made me laugh! Fortunately he's here now, so his parents won't just have to muddle on through without him!

Hooray! Another twins story from Dragon! My favorite kind of stories and authors have seemed to be on hiatus recently. So it to wonderful to see that you've started another epic -- I can hope and look forward to updates.

An interesting beginning. I suspect they'll both be learning some hard lessons soon. Looking forward to it!

Sorry for the long reply and update time. I'm away at college for half the year at present and doing cool things much of the rest of the time! But I will finish everything eventually!
