Nieriel RainaReviewed Chapter: 1 on 2/26/2008
Thanks to Thundera Tiger for rec'ing this.

ROTFLOL! Oh my goodness, this was hysterical! I'll have to add it to my own recommendations! Thanks for the laugh! Simple and yet... perfectly in character. I love it!

Author Reply: Heehe! It's my pleasure. Nothing is more rewarding than making people laugh. Glad I could. :D

An old fashioned pissing contest. Well I guess travelling with nine males it had to be expected some point in time. The fact that the hobbits totally pwned the others had me giggling like crazy. :)

Oh. My. God.

And y'know? I can imagine that happening. *dies of laughter*

Author Reply: *Snicker!*

Oh, so could I! I have to confess, I had a hysterical time writing this.

Was looking for something to read and stumbled upon this little gem. Loved this in a big way. Very funny and the title is priceless! Thank you for the laughs!

Author Reply: Ah! She found the 'pee-fic'! LOL! This one was a gas to write but I gain even more pleasure seeing it make others laugh too. Thanks for letting me know you enjoyed it!

*snicker* Ah well, it had to be done. And kudos to you for keeping the subject matter... discreet. Nice.

Author Reply:
Ah yes, never let it be said there were depths that Ariel wouldn't sink to! Hehehehe... Glad you got a chuckle out of it.

*snort* I think they held distance trials the next day. I can just see this leading into all sorts of strange male competitive behavior!

Author Reply: LOL!!! The fellowship that Tolkien 'didn't' write about! Well, all the other trials and tribulations of this crew have been written about already. I think this was only a matter of time - leave it to me to be shameless enough to actually take up the challenge. :p

Cute!
I could just hear them laughing...

Author Reply: LOL! So could I! I must confess to really having fun while writing this fic. I giggled nearly as much as my readers seem to have.

Of course, this does all bring to mind a question that has plagued me for some time. If there is a need to "go" in Middle Earth, how did Eowyn remain hidden all the way to Minas Tirith?

I'd really rather not think about it anyway, but your story brought it back to mind.

Author Reply: Drake, as a woman who has worked outside in the woods for most of her career, I can honestly say, you find ways. :p

Though it would sort of be pretty hard to hide in a camp full of men... :o

No, I can't say as that's a plot bunny that would intrigue me either... LOL!

What a fun thing to read on a Sunday morning! Thank you for making me smile. Things like this are so rarely mentioned in stories, but we all know they had to go.

Jay

Author Reply: Oh, they had to! And though most boys get over such competitions when they are small, I just figured a group of different races would just HAVE to try this at least one time!
