Yeah, poor Pippin's travail really was ignored wasn't it? Poor little hobbit! Anyway, i enjoyed your story.

That was very good! I liked the outlook on Pippin's experience in the Palantir and the bravery that you gave it. Also the way Pippin and Legolas interacted was very well done! I always like one on one moments between characters! Thank you! Author Reply: Thank you! Pippin was very brave, and I had read too many stories where he was only the comic relief. I'm glad you liked it.

Wow, I love it. Thank you, and thank Tanaquai for me, too. I wish I had a comb made by Legolas and used by Pippin! Author Reply: I have thanked Tanaqui as requested. I liked the idea of Legolas making something elven wonderful and only seeing it as utilitarian. I wish I had one, too!

What a wonderful scene! Legolas was able to give Pippin a new way to think about so many things, and knowing that the Elf prince had been crafting a gift for him must make Pippin feel very special. I can well see that comb becoming an honored "heirloom for his house." Lovely! Author Reply: I'm glad you enjoyed it. A lot of things came together when I was thinking about it: how Pippin must have felt being told to 'go rest' after such an ordeal, and the article in TORN's Green Books that discussed how elves were differently creative from Men. Thank you so much!

I like this very much. I think you captured Pippins feelings very well. Nice notion about the comb and that it was made to be used. Keep it up... Author Reply: Yes, I am well and truly hooked writing. This was only the second story I ever finished. I'm very glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the encouragement!
