Hi, Elvenesse! Wow, this was so funny!!!! It is exactly like a person who doesn't know anything about poetry trying to write his first lines. It sounds rather like me, actually! (Although I've never tried my hand at love poetry). I really enjoyed this. Thank you for sharing it. Nerdanel Author Reply: Ah, but your poetry is good! Although it's true that this based on my own (exaggerated) though process. Thank you for reviewing.

I love the story hilarious!I write a bit of poetry myself, and this poem is really good.I really like it, please, write more. Author Reply: Thank you! I have more poetry, although I don't think I'm going to write more of this.

Loved that! OK, at some point I got confused when you had Aragorn talk about syllables and meter and rhyming, but this only added to the atmosphere of the poem. Very witty and could very well be true. Author Reply: Sorry for the late reply, and I'm glad you think it works. I managed to confuse myself with parts of this. ;-)

Oh, I love it! I saw the link on the MC site, and HAD to go read it. Nice job, is aragorn talking or writing? Author Reply: He's writing. I know paper (or whatever they wrote on) would be precious, but maybe he had a small journal.

This is wonderful, Not only was Aragorn love for Arwin written in his face, he tryed to write it in a poem. Very brave. Liked the part about him having chosen bad rhyming words. The poem was not a bad one, of course I know nothing about poems. Author Reply: I don't think Aragorn would have been a particularly bad poet. By the time of the Ring War he somehow managed to pick up the Elvish trait of composing - after all, he came up with the first and last verse of 'Lament For Boromir' pretty quickly.

Oh my gosh, that was sooo funny!! I especially like the part at the end: "To Arwen: If you are reading this, please, kill me now. Or I shall disappear into the wild and never ever return." Great addition. Very well done!! ~*Celebwen*~ Author Reply: Slightly melodramatic, I think! ;-) Thanks for your comments.

Bwahahaha! No, never been a 20 yr old boy, but this had me in stitches. Poor Aragorn, it wasn't such a bad poem (but what do I know?) Author Reply: I realised that not many people on this site are going to be male. Thank you for your review!

LOL! Poor Aragorn! I usually don't like poetry, but that was good! More please. Author Reply: I don't know if I'm going to write more. But it would definitely be embarrassing if someone found it!

I thought it was quite lovely and funny at the same time. From some of my son's own writings you have the thought process perfect. I would love to read about how Elrond found it and what he thought as he did lol; Good job, keep it up. Author Reply: Thank you, I'm glad you think the thought process is okay.

So this doesn't actually relate to this story, but you do realise that you have several stories posted without any chapters, don't you? Maybe you should either un-post them, or post their chapters? Just a thought, ignore me if you like! Author Reply: Ack! Sorry, typo. It should say 'bites' in my last reply. Maybe I shouldn't still be awake at half three in the morning. I know I do, they're place holders really, until I have the chapters ready to post. Some of them are nearly ready, I think! It's strange, if you click on Elvenesse by this story/poem on the front page, it shows everything I have. Whereas if you search for my name and click on the result, it only comes up with the stories that have chapters. - Elvenesse/Kate
