| I love Gimli! Bless his heart, seasick and rejected by the majority of the Elves (I thought you caught their revulsion quite well, though why they would presume to question the Lords of the West is beyond me!). Also, the Elves would do well to remember that it was Iluvatar Himself who allowed the dwarfs to exist. Technically, they may not be His creation, but He has an interest in them, too. I'm glad Legolas did not have to defend his friend any further, and all I can say about Galadriel is "way to go"! Her greeting to her loyal Lock-bearer was perfect! You did a great job, too, with Gimli's character - just the right amount of rough, gruff banter with Legolas, and his disappointment and then uninhibited joy at the sight of Galadriel was right on (for me, anyway! | Oh this was wonderful! I love your Gimli. His voice fit his character just right. Galadriel's warm welcome was so sweet, as well. Thank you for writing this! I'm glad someone was able to use those bunnies. :) Keep up the amazing work. | Lovely. There aren't too many stories about Gimli or the Dwarves. You did a nice job capturing Gimli's "voice" and his friendship with Legolas. Author Reply: Thank you, JewelSong!
