Lovely way to work that old adage into the story!

Author Reply: Thank you! I was trying to think of a way to end it and that old saying came to mind. I thought it captured Pippin's thoughts as he got back at his cousins :)

Snow! I want some snow too. Cute story!

Author Reply: Thanks for reading! I hope you do get some snow, if that's what you want :D

Oh, this was so sweet, especially the way that little Pippin got his revenge at the end. That'll serve those two right! I especially enjoyed Pippin leaning his forehead against the windowpane and sighing - that just sounds exactly like him to me. As much aggravation that Little!Pip causes his cousins, I'm sure they love every minute of it.

Author Reply: I always love it when a reviewer says that I've written something "exactly like" a character - it's a huge complient for me! Thank you very much! :)

*LOL* Oh, that was brilliant! I can really understand Merry. Here in Germany winter has come back unexpectedly, and when I look out of my windows, there's snow - in March. That's very unusual where I live. The weather forecast has announced more snow for tomorrow. That just leaves me to say, in Merry's words: "I can't escape it!" I hope spring will come soon.

Thank you for this chapter!

Author Reply: I hope spring comes soon for you as well! I like having cold weather, but snow is just too much trouble sometimes. Here in New York we had snow last week and I hope that's the end of it for this year! I'm very glad you enjoyed this chapter - thank you for reading! :)

LoL! I *loved* this. I am kind of like both Merry and Pippin here... I must admit I do like getting snow, and am a bit anxious about it ere the first snowfall of the season but, *enough* can sometimes be *enough* (as where I live, we certainly can sometimes get *enough*). But I loved the last line, I am familiar with that saying, and thought it was quite clever that you used it here! Great job! :)

Author Reply: Thank you very much! I agree - snow can be fun, but too much of it makes me feel like Merry does here. Oh, as for the last line, I was trying to decide how to end it and I just remembered that old saying - I'm glad you liked it! :D

Thanks - I loved this. And I know just how Pippin feels. I live in the West of London and everybody else in the Country seems to have had feet of snow while we have just had a few, rather grey, flakes falling from the sky. Not enough to cover a hobbit's toes! I love snow!

Author Reply: Heehee! I actually wrote it for a friend of mine, also in England, who really wants snow. It seems to be a common complaint! I'm so glad you enjoyed reading about these snowy hobbits. Thank you! :)
