Lovely gap-filler!

This part made me laugh.
"You could learn a thing or two from your elders, Pippin- namely how to keep up. You certainly have not mastered that yet."

Before Pippin could protest Merry plopped down beside him on the bench and stole the last piece of bacon from his plate.

Once the youngest, ALWAYS the youngest, after all. You never quite catch up, after all. But at least Pippin is starting to get some respect.
