Great timing Gandalf! 'A wizard arrives just when he means to.'! Lovely glimpse of 'like father, like Son', ST.

Author Reply: Thanks, harrowcat! I'm so glad you enjoyed. Yes, I do believe that Pippin took after his father very much :)

A good moment for Gandalf to arrive! Or there might never have been a Pippin ...

Author Reply: LOL yes, and that would have been a terrible thing!
Thanks for reading, Bodkin!

Ha! Like son, like father in this case eh? How charming the idea of it.

Author Reply: Yes, I think that Pippin would have taken after Paladin very much. I've never written Gandalf rescuing Pippin from a tree, but he certainly helped him out of a few scrapes here and there ;)
Thanks for reading, Larner!

Excellent, ST!!! I love this. Paladin was so brave to make it down to the branch Gandalf pointed out to him.

Gotta love us Tooks ;-)

Author Reply: I thought it important that Paladin climb down at least a little bit, so he would realize that despite his fear he could do it. Besides, I couldn't imagine Gandalf scurrying up the tree to rescue him, lol!
We Tooks are irresistible! ;)
I'm so glad you enjoyed, Pearl! Thanks very much!
