| A lovely first glimpse of Valinor through Bilbo's eyes, and so wonderful to see Frodo healing! Tol Eressea must have been more than beautiful, and I always thought it was so sad that only three of our five favourite Hobbits could go there. But it's satisfying to think that Merry and Pippin found peace by their king. God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: I know; I've always thought it a bit unfair that Merry and Pippin did not go. One of my friends wrote a lovely AU where they do sail West many years later, it's so sweet. But at least Aragorn had them with him for many long years. | |
