Ahhh! This, by far, is the most adorable Christmas ficlet I've read this year. Kudos! Of course, you do realize that this is going to inspire me to hound you for more Valinor!Glorfindel, right? Because Glorfindel with a son? Entirely too cute for words.

What a lovely story!

It was a delight to see Elladan and Elrohir - worn, thin, still wearing mail and carrying swords - arrive to delight their parents and friends. And to see Glorfindel with a delightful elfling of his own to torment him so pleasantly.

This was a perfect story for Christmas. The glowing lights, warm hearths and frozen landscape were a beautiful setting for the happy reunion that they all so richly deserved.

I admit the picture of a family reunited after long years - ages - apart, and the scene of Glorfindel now happy with a family of his own, are enough to bring tears of joy to my eyes. These are nice snapshots to be treasured.

That was nice and sweet. Elladan and Elrohir certainly have a good sense of timing.

Dragon! This was just the kind of story I was hoping to read tonight. Am sitting here watching the Christmas tree lights, waiting for dinner to get done cooking and the guests to arrive. This put me in the right spirit. Merry Christmas.

Very nice, Dragon. You've brightened my Christmas Eve with a story about something that matters deeply -- the love of parents and children.

Author Reply: Merry Christmas, daw! Christmas is all about family. And that's special. :)
